Camden Shooting: Police Release CCTV to Snare Gunmen
Detectives have unleashed CCTV footage to track down three suspects involved in a shocking shooting on Camden High Street in June.
Shooting Sparks Chaos on Camden High Street
At around 1:25am on Monday, 17 June, police were scrambled after reports of shots fired near the junction with Buck Street, NW1.
Three men leapt from a blue BMW 1 Series and opened fire at a grey Mercedes C Class before both cars sped off.
Chase Caught on Camera
- The grey Mercedes, later identified as a hire car (registration KW68 NSY), took a dangerous wrong-way turn onto Camden High Street, then darted right into Inverness Street.
- The suspects’ blue BMW continued north along 1 High Street, last seen on Grafton Road, NW5.
- Police found shotgun damage to a nearby window, underlining the violent nature of the incident.
Witness Appeal: Police Urge Anyone with Info to Speak Up
The Met Police are desperate to hear from anyone who saw the shooting or spotted either of these vehicles before or after the attack.
“If you have any information, no matter how small, please come forward,” said a spokesperson.
