Thieves Use Fake Language Barrier to Target Victim

After the man kindly gave directions, one woman grabbed his wrist, shook his hand, and pressed it to her chest. Moments later, the victim realised his watch had vanished. The suspects fled the scene, jumping into a car driven by a third accomplice.
Police Issue Warning as Hunt for Crooks Continues
DS Rachel Howson of West Kent CID warned, “It is likely the suspects targeted other potential victims in and around the Tunbridge Wells area.
She added, “The watch stolen is extremely sentimental to the victim as it belonged to his late father. It is a Rolex Air-King, serial number 160 Y297696.”
