Man Arrested in Alexandra Morgan Murder Probe

A 40-year-old man from St Leonards-on-Sea was arrested on Thursday, 25 November, in connection with the disappearance of Alexandra Morgan. A second suspect, a 53-year-old man from Hastings, arrested on Friday, 26 November, has now been released without charge. Police have been granted extra time to question the first man as the investigation intensifies.

Alexandra Morgan Missing Since November 2021

Mother of two, Alexandra Morgan, vanished after last being seen at a petrol station near Cranbrook at 7.20am on Sunday, 14 November 2021. She hasn’t been in contact with her family since. Authorities are treating her disappearance as suspicious and consider it a potential murder.

White Mini Cooper: Key to the Investigation

Detectives have released a photo of Alexandra’s white Mini Cooper with a black roof, registration number MF55 YHM. On 14 and 15 November, the car was tracked making trips between her home and the Hastings area. Investigators are urging anyone who saw Alexandra or her car to come forward immediately.

Police Conducting Searches and Appeal for Info

Kent Police, backed by Sussex Police, are searching four locations in Hastings and St Leonards-on-Sea. Residents can expect a heavy police presence. Detective Chief Inspector Neil Kimber said:

“It is completely out of character for Alexandra not to contact her family. We are now treating this as a potential murder. If you saw Alexandra or her Mini Cooper, or noticed anything suspicious, please get in touch without delay.”
