Teen Stabbed in Shocking SW2 Attack
Police were scrambled to Athlone Road, SW2, at 2.40pm on Saturday, 24 October after London Ambulance Service crews found a 16-year-old boy with stab wounds to his leg and back.
Two Teens Flee Scene After Brutal Assault
The victim was attacked by two suspects who fled towards Mackie Road. Witnesses have given police detailed descriptions of the pair, believed to be aged between 16 and 20.
- Suspect One: Black male, skinny build, at least 5ft 8ins tall, no facial hair, small neat black afro. Dressed in a plain burgundy top, light grey zip-up hoody (worn open), and matching grey jogging bottoms.
- Suspect Two: Black male, 5ft 11ins tall, wearing a grey open hoodie with the hood up, black t-shirt with a distinctive black and orange patterned design. Also wore straight-legged dark grey trousers, black shoes, and black sunglasses.
Attack Happened Near Tesco Garage on Tulse Hill
The stabbing reportedly took place near the junction of Harriet Tubman Close and Athlone Road. The suspects ran off towards the Tesco Express petrol garage at the bottom of Athlone Road, heading in the direction of Tulse Hill.
Police Plea: Help Catch the Attackers
“This was a very nasty attack which could have cost a teenager his life,” said Detective Constable Mia Armitage.
“Thankfully, he is recovering physically, and we are committed to doing everything we can to make arrests in this case.”
