Walsall Nightclub Murder: Victim Named as Akeem Francis-Kerr
Akeem Francis-Kerr, 29, has been identified as the man fatally stabbed at a Walsall nightclub in the early hours of yesterday morning. The deadly attack happened just after 5 a.m. at Valesha’s nightclub, also known locally as the Colliseum, on Newport Street in the town centre.
Tragic Death Despite Emergency Efforts
Despite medics’ frantic attempts to save him, Akeem was pronounced dead around 6 a.m. while being rushed to hospital. His devastated family described him as “one of the greatest of men” whose “unrivalled energy, mindset, and love will forever live on.”
Specialist officers are supporting the family during this heartbreaking time and keeping them updated on the investigation.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and CCTV Footage
- Detective Inspector Ade George is leading the probe, urging anyone with info to come forward.
- Witnesses are being interviewed, and CCTV from the nightclub and surrounding areas is under review.
