Shock arrests in Coventry as four nabbed over terror plots!
Two Men Caught Preparing for Terror
On Tuesday, January 31, Coventry police swooped on two men aged 26 and 18. Both were arrested on suspicion of preparing for terrorism under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
Two More Held Over Terror Funding
Also on Tuesday, a 58-year-old woman was taken into custody. The very next day, February 1, a 57-year-old man was arrested. Both face allegations of funding terrorism under Section 15 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
Ongoing Investigation, No Public Danger
All four suspects remain in police custody at a West Midlands station as questioning continues. Authorities are still searching a residential address in Coventry. Officials stress there is no immediate threat to the public at this stage.
