Gruesome Find at Tesco Extra: Decapitated Body Discovered in Portsmouth Woodland

A contractor making preparations for work near Tesco Extra in North Harbour, Portsmouth, made a chilling discovery just before 11am today. A decapitated body was found in the woodland close to the store.

Police Swarm Scene as Investigation Kicks Off

Officers arrived at the Tesco North Harbour petrol station at around 11.30am after being alerted to the grisly find. Hampshire Constabulary quickly sealed off the garage exit, and three police vehicles were spotted at the location.

“Police were called today due to the finding of what are believed to be human remains. We have commenced an investigation,” Hampshire Constabulary said in a statement.

Petrol Station Still Open, But Exits Restricted

Despite the incident, the petrol station stayed open. However, drivers were forced to exit the forecourt through the entrance point as police maintain their cordon around the scene.
