Man in his 50s Found with Head Injury Near Ebbsfleet Station – Police Launch Assault Probe

Mystery Attack at Ebbsfleet International

A man in his 50s was discovered seriously injured beside a roundabout near car park C at Ebbsfleet International train station late on Thursday night, December 9, 2021. The victim suffered a head injury sometime between 9.50pm and 10.15pm and was found by two passersby on Thames Way.

Assault Suspected After Hospital Checks

Initially, how the man got hurt was a mystery. But after hospital examinations, his injuries were confirmed to be consistent with an assault. The South East Coast Ambulance Service rushed him to a local hospital where further checks revealed the brutal truth.

Police Hunt Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Detectives from the North Kent Criminal Investigation Department are combing through CCTV footage and piecing together the events. They want to hear from anyone who was near the scene at the time, especially the two good Samaritans who stopped to help before the ambulance arrived. Dashcam users driving nearby are urged to come forward too.
