Serious Crash on A228 Leaves Woman Critically Injured
At around 7am on Sunday 7 January 2024, a black BMW 3 Series crashed head-on with a blue Ford EcoSport on the A228 near Colts Hill. The smash happened between Redwings Lane and Maidstone Road.
Woman in Her 50s Seriously Hurt, Man Arrested
The Ford’s female driver, in her 50s, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a London hospital. The BMW driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. He has now been arrested in connection with the collision.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Kent Police are investigating and urge anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward. Officers especially want to speak to a van driver who stopped at the scene and may hold vital info.
