Man Seriously Injured in Early Morning M25 Crash
A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a major collision on the M25 in the early hours today.
HGV and Road Sweeper Crash Sparks Chaos
Emergency services were scrambled at 3:46am following a crash on the anticlockwise M25 carriageway between junctions 6 (Godstone Interchange) and 5 (Chevening Interchange). The smash involved a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) and a road sweeper.
Two Arrested Over Dangerous Driving
Surrey Police have arrested a 30-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman. Both face charges including causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving without due care and attention.
Major Road Closure and Traffic Diversions Underway
The M25 remains shut anticlockwise between J6 and J5, with delays expected to last for hours. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and follow the hollow square diversion signs.

- At the A22/A25 roundabout, take the first exit onto A25 towards Westerham
- Follow A25 through Limpsfield, Oxted, Westerham, Brasted, and Sundridge
- Rejoin the M25 at J5 heading towards Dartford Crossing
