Police Launch Urgent Search for Missing 81-Year-Old Woman in Surrey
Surrey police are desperately hunting for 81-year-old Jennifer Lewis, who vanished from her West Horsley home late on 5 March. Concern is mounting over her safety as officers plead for public help.
Last Seen in West Horsley at 10.40pm
Jennifer was last spotted at around 10.40pm when a family member left her address. She is described as white, about 5ft tall, medium build, and walks with a stoop. She wore a grey cardigan, beaded necklace, dark brown trousers, and reportedly took a small suitcase.
Police Fear for Her Safety in Wet Weather
Inspector Neil Lancaster of the West Surrey Neighbourhood Policing Team said:
“We are extremely concerned for Jennifer’s welfare. If anyone sees her, please get in touch immediately. The weather is very wet, so she may have taken shelter. We ask locals to check their gardens.”
He added:
“Residents with CCTV in the West Horsley area should review footage from 10.40pm on 5 March. We believe Jennifer left without phone, money, or medication, increasing our worries for her safety.”
