British Transport Police rushed to Euston station at 4.14pm yesterday (28 July) following reports of a male claiming he had been attacked.
Officers found a 19-year-old man who was taken to hospital for assessment. However, it quickly emerged he had made a false report.
The young man was then arrested for wasting police time and is now held in custody.
