Man Slashed in Clapham Road Showdown
Police have launched a serious investigation after a 20-year-old man was found with slash wounds following a violent altercation on Clapham Road, SW9, on Saturday evening (March 15).
Disturbance Flags Down Police
Officers were called to the scene at 5:50pm after a member of the public reported a disturbance. When police arrived, they discovered the injured man nearby and recovered a knife close to where the incident took place.
The London Ambulance Service rushed the victim to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries have been confirmed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
No Arrests Yet as Probe Continues
So far, no arrests have been made. Police confirmed that their enquiries are ongoing as they work to piece together what sparked the violent clash.
Met Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
The Metropolitan Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to come forward. They urged the public to call 101 and quote CAD reference 5311/15MAR to assist the investigation.
