Police Hunt Man After Shocking Sexual Assaults in Soho

Detectives have released a CCTV image of a suspect wanted over sexual assaults on two women in Soho.

Attack Caught on Camera

The incidents happened around 10.25pm on Friday, 11 May, on Frith Street, W1. The victims, aged 27 and 28, told police they were walking when a man suddenly approached from behind and sexually assaulted them.

He then fled on foot towards Dean Street, while the women ran to call the police.

Suspect Description

  • Dark-skinned white male
  • Black hair
  • Wearing a pink and white striped shirt
  • Carrying a black backpack

The image released was taken from CCTV footage just before the attack.

Police Plea

Detective Constable Paul Durrant of the Met’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offences team said: “These young women were just walking down the road when this despicable individual went up to them from behind and sexually assaulted them.”

“It is vital we catch him to stop him from targeting anyone else.”
