Belfast Stabbing Shocker: Man Slashed Outside Fast Food Joint
Detectives are on the hunt for witnesses after a man was stabbed in the face in Belfast in the early hours of Sunday, October 15.
Public Hero Stops Suspect
At around 2:25am, chaos erupted outside a fast food shop on Dublin Road. A man in his 30s was left with a slash wound to his face during the attack. Luckily, a 37-year-old suspect was quickly grabbed and held by members of the public until cops arrived.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and remains in police custody.
Call for Witnesses and Footage
Detective Sergeant McCartan, leading the probe, is urging anyone who saw the stabbing or has dash-cam or phone footage to come forward. You can quote reference number 243 of 15/10/23 when contacting police.
