Man Threatens Homeowner with Crossbow in Shocking Southampton Burglary
Police are hunting witnesses after a terrifying aggravated burglary in Southampton. A man armed with a crossbow forced his way into a Priory Road home at around 4pm on the 19th.
Crossbow-Wielding Intruder Strikes
The victim, a 27-year-old man, was threatened at his front door by a hooded attacker. The armed intruder pushed inside and continued issuing threats. Luckily, the victim managed to flee outside unharmed.
Getaway Car and Co-Conspirators
The suspect was followed briefly by a black car carrying two other men. Meanwhile, the crossbow-wielding burglar rummaged messily upstairs. Despite the chaos, no injuries were reported, and nothing appears to have been stolen.
Suspect Description and Appeal for Witnesses
- White male, around 5ft 9in
- Wearing a beanie hat, black coat with hood up
- Dark tracksuit bottoms
- Trainers with bright orange Nike ticks
