Police Hunt Bus Pervert After Shocking Romford Incident
Detectives are on the lookout for a man caught on camera in a disturbing sexual assault case on a bus in Romford.
Victim Targeted on Late-Night 175 Bus
A 22-year-old woman was travelling on the 175 bus at around 2:10am on Friday, 9 November 2019. The bus was heading towards Dagenham when she sat on the upper deck near the front.
At the next stop, a man boarded and sat directly behind her. He then indecently exposed himself for several minutes. Realising what was happening, the woman quickly got off the bus. The man followed, leaving the bus at the very next stop.
Description of Suspect
- Asian appearance
- Medium build, approximately 5ft 8ins tall
- Early twenties
- Dark, slightly curly “messy” hair and stubble
- Wearing a red hooded jacket, blue jeans, black trainers
- Carrying a black bag over his right shoulder
