Tragic Crash on A32: 22-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies After Collision with Articulated Lorry
A 22-year-old motorcyclist has died following a serious crash on the A32 at Warnford just before 7pm on Saturday, June 29.
Multiple Vehicles Involved in Horrific Smash
The fatal collision involved a black Vauxhall Zafira, a grey Audi A6, and a large articulated white lorry. Emergency services rushed the young rider to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital, but he sadly passed away on Sunday.
Investigation Underway – Lorry Driver Arrested
The lorry driver, a 49-year-old man from Horndean, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has since been released but remains under investigation.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers are urging anyone who saw the crash or the vehicles involved before the collision to come forward. They’re especially keen to view any dashcam footage that might shed light on the incident.
“His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers,” police said.
