Police Urge Dog Walkers to Find Missing Autistic Man and His Spaniel

Officers desperate to find 31-year-old Christopher Fisher, aka Chris, have launched a public appeal. The vulnerable man vanished around 6pm on Thursday, 9 August 2018. He was last seen near Dering Woods, Pluckley, in the Ashford district.

Chief Inspector Mark Hedges urged locals to comb their gardens and sheds for any sign of Chris and his beloved dog. “Residents in Pluckley and Headcorn, please check your outbuildings,” he said. “Dog walkers, stay alert and call us if you spot him.”

Do Not Approach—Chris is Autistic and Distressed

Christopher was upset when he went missing. Officers warn anyone who spots him not to approach, as it may scare him further.

  • Wearing: dark trousers and either a blue raincoat or navy zip-up hoodie
  • Dog: black and white Spaniel named Molly
  • Car: silver Vauxhall Corsa (found, but sightings on 9 August still needed)
