Reports suggest the suspect was armed with a samurai sword, confronting emergency teams during the incident. The Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrest of a 36-year-old man who allegedly attacked several civilians and two officers.

A Met Police spokesperson said:

“We were called shortly before 07:00am about a vehicle driven into a house in Thurlow Gardens. People had been stabbed. The suspect then attacked members of the public and two police officers. We are awaiting updates on those injured.”
