Brutal Assault Caught on CCTV
Thames Valley Police have stepped up their manhunt after a brutal attack on a septuagenarian driver in Abingdon. The shocking assault unfolded on the Vineyard just after 5pm on Monday, October 2.
The victim was sat in his blue Chevrolet Aveo when a stranger sprinted down the middle of the road, yanked open the car door, and launched a savage assault.
Victim Suffers Serious Injuries
The 70-something man suffered a fractured nose and multiple brain bleeds in the vicious attack. He is currently in hospital receiving treatment.
Police Release New CCTV Images
Detective Constable Chris Burr of Abingdon CID said: “We are releasing another CCTV image of who we believe to be the same individual and who may have vital information about the incident.”
Officers are urging anyone who recognises the man in the footage to come forward immediately.
