Burglars Caught on CCTV Raiding Family Home in Barnet

Detectives have released CCTV images of two men wanted over a daring burglary in Barnet. The raid happened on Sunday, 1 April, at a family home on South Close while the owners were away on holiday.

Thieves Break In While Family Away

The burglars struck between 10am and 5pm, forcing their way through the side gate before breaking a window to slip inside the property. Their crime was uncovered by the family’s pet-sitter later that day.

CCTV Shows Men Ransacking Home

Once inside, the suspects ransacked the living room and bedrooms, stealing a large number of valuables. CCTV footage reveals the two men rifling through the rooms, hunting for loot.

Police Appeal for Information

  • Suspect 1: Green jacket, dark cap, grey trousers, black trainers with white soles
  • Suspect 2: Grey fleece, black trousers
