Ram Raiders Smash Into Walton-on-Thames Jewellers
Surrey Police are hunting thieves after a brazen ram raid on Fleur Jewellery in Walton-on-Thames late on November 28.
Just before 10pm, a silver Range Rover Evoque crashed through the shop’s front on High Street. Two masked men then rushed inside, grabbing jewellery in a matter of minutes. They escaped in a getaway car driven by a third suspect.
Quick Getaway and Major Damage
- Witnesses saw the raiders switch to a white getaway vehicle after the smash-and-grab before fleeing.
- Luckily, no one was hurt as the shop was empty.
- The raid left the shopfront wrecked and valuable items stolen.
Police Launch Full Investigation
Surrey Police are on the case, searching for the suspects and the second vehicle involved.
“We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the raid or has dashcam, doorbell, or CCTV footage that could help identify the suspects or their getaway car,” said a police spokesperson.
