Teen Stabbed in Merseyside Street Brawl – Police Hunt Witnesses
Merseyside Police are on the case after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in broad daylight on Tuesday evening, September 26.
Stabbing Sparks Fury on Tarbock Road
At around 5.20pm, the teen was standing with his girlfriend at the corner of Tarbock Road and Logwood Road in Huyton when two men approached and an argument erupted. Things quickly turned violent, with the boy stabbed in the back and shin before the suspects fled.
The injured youngster was rushed to hospital and, thankfully, his wounds are not life-threatening.
Police Launch Early-Stage Investigation
Detective Inspector Peter Rexwinkel revealed enquires are still in the initial phases as officers piece together what happened. He urged anyone nearby at the time to come forward with any information.
“If you were around Tarbock Road from 5pm onwards and saw anything, please contact us,” said DI Rexwinkel. “Check your dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage – it could hold vital clues.”
