Crash on A82 Glencoe: Police Hunt Witnesses After Motorbike and Car Collision
Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a crash between a red BMW motorbike and a white Audi Q5 on the A82 Achtriochtan in Glencoe.
Rider Hurt, Audi Passengers Unscathed
The smash happened just after 4pm on Friday, July 14, 2023. The motorbike rider, a 50-year-old man, was injured and rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Luckily, the Audi driver and three passengers escaped without any injuries.
Road Shut for Hours as Investigation Continues
The road was shut for over three hours while cops carried out a thorough investigation. Sergeant Calum MacAulay from the Road Policing Unit said the probe is ongoing and urged anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage to step forward.
