Fuel Thief Strikes Eight Times Across Avon & Somerset
Avon & Somerset Police are hunting a fuel bandit linked to eight fuel thefts across Bristol, Axbridge, Cheddar, Weston-super-Mare, and Nailsea. The spree took place between Monday 20 March and Wednesday 29 March.
Greedy Motorist Fills Up and Drives Off
The suspect drives onto petrol forecourts, pours fuel into a large container through an open car window, then zooms off without paying. Police suspect more offences could be connected to this cheeky crime wave and investigations are ongoing.
Suspect Description and Cars Spotted
Police have released two images of a slim man aged between 35 and 45 they believe to be the culprit. In one photo, he has dark hair on the sides and back, a bald patch on top, and a dark goatee. The other shows him with a shaved head and no beard.
The getaway vehicles were a silver Volvo V60 and a red Seat Leon.
