Man Assaulted in Chingford – Suspect on the Run
A man in his 40s was rushed to hospital after a brutal assault on Burnside Avenue, Chingford, at around 4.50pm on 16 July 2025. Emergency services, including the Metropolitan Police and Ambulance Service, arrived swiftly following reports of the attack.
Victim Injured But Stable
The victim was found injured at the scene and taken to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-changing or life-threatening, officials confirmed.
Suspect Fled in Vehicle
The attacker sped off in a vehicle, which remains missing. Police say the suspect is still at large, prompting a full investigation.
“An investigation has been launched and several lines of enquiry are ongoing,” a Met Police spokesperson said.
No Arrests Yet – Police Appeal for Witnesses
No arrests have been made so far. Officers are urging anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
