Man Left Fighting for Life After Aylesbury Shooting and Brutal Attack

Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a man was left with life-threatening injuries in a shocking assault in Aylesbury.

Gun Fired From Car in Church Square

At around 10.15pm last Friday, officers rushed to Church Square following reports that a firearm was fired from one vehicle at another. Miraculously, no one was hurt by the gunfire.

Both vehicles then sped off, only to crash moments later in nearby Hampden Gardens.

Brutal Assault Follows Car Crash

A 26-year-old man was viciously attacked after the collision. He was rushed to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

A 54-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He has since been released on conditional police bail as the investigation continues.

Police Hunt Witnesses and Vehicles

“We are renewing our appeal for witnesses to either incident that occurred on Friday,” Inspector Andrew Alexander of Aylesbury police station said.

“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw a silver BMW 330i or silver Nissan Almera in the area before the incident.”

Police promise to maintain a strong presence in the area while they investigate this terrifying attack.
