Missing 12-Year-Old Leona Peach Found Safe After Nationwide Search

Devon & Cornwall Police have confirmed that missing 12-year-old Leona Peach, reported gone from Newton Abbot on Monday 20 December, has been found safe and well.

Massive Police Operation Leads to Breakthrough

In a joint effort with Lincolnshire Police and child services from both counties, officers raided an address near Boston this afternoon. That’s where Leona was discovered. She’s now in the care of specialist officers and child support services.

Arrest Made in Connection with Kidnap

During the search, police arrested a 34-year-old Devon man on suspicion of child abduction and kidnap. He is set to be transferred back to Devon and Cornwall for questioning.
