The road is still closed hours after a blue MG tore into a parked silver Volvo just after 8.30am on January 1st. The crash caused serious damage, smashing the Volvo into a nearby street light.

Firefighters Rescue Trapped Passenger

Four fire crews from Hampshire Fire and Rescue rushed from Redbridge and St Mary’s to the scene. They had to cut the roof off the MG to free a trapped female passenger. Hydraulic rescue tools were used in the daring operation.

Driver Flees Scene, Police Launch Manhunt

The driver sped off after the smash, and cops are now on the hunt. The trapped woman was taken into care, but police have not released details about her condition.
