Teen Thug from Newport Arrested After Brutal Attack on Dog Walker in Cowes
A yob captured on video attacking a dog walker in Cowes has been arrested — but remains under investigation without charge.
15-Year-Old Jarred Webb Under Police Scrutiny
The 15-year-old Newport lad, Jarred Webb, was arrested over a serious assault on Bath Road, Cowes last month. The victim, a man in his 40s, was attacked after asking a gang to stop smashing glass bottles.
Community Outraged by Brutal Attack
Social media erupted with anger following the incident. One comment read: “What an ugly p****. Would love to see someone put him in the hospital along with his bitch. Karma will soon find you… ugly yet confident, wtf.”
Police Continue Investigation
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said:
“We are continuing to investigate a report of a 41-year-old man being assaulted on Bath Road in Cowes. We received the report shortly after 11:30pm on Thursday 26 July. The victim was treated for lacerations to his head. Enquiries are ongoing.”
Jarred Webb remains released under investigation as police dig deeper into the violent incident.
