Terrifying Moment Burglar Caught Red-Handed in Granny’s Kitchen
An elderly woman got the fright of her life when she found a burglar lurking in her home in Tenterden. The shocking incident happened on Springfield Avenue, St Michaels, on Saturday 25 May 2019.
Burglar Startled and Flees
The woman, in her 80s, woke up between 3pm and 6pm to find a man standing in her kitchen doorway. The unexpected sight spooked the intruder, who fled the scene immediately.
Police Release Suspect’s Image
Detective Constable Jo Heard said: “Luckily nothing was stolen, no one was hurt and the victim has been able to provide a good description of the suspect.”
