Fire Erupts at Former Streatham Police Station

Flames ripped through the old police station on Streatham High Road this Tuesday afternoon, sparking a major emergency response.

Six Engines and Aerial Ladder Battle Blaze

After multiple 999 calls flooded in, six fire engines and an aerial ladder rushed to the scene shortly after 4.30pm on December 20th. The building, previously a police station and reportedly home to homeless residents, was engulfed in flames.

Road Closures in Place as Firefighters Tackle Inferno

  • Several road closures have been enforced around the area.
  • These will remain for some time while fire crews work to control the blaze.
