Tragic loss of Daniel: Family’s heartfelt tribute as police probe ongoing
Family pays tribute to ‘happy and caring’ Daniel
Daniel’s family described him as a “happy, kind and caring little boy” loved by everyone who knew him. He was a cheeky character who brought laughter to those around him. Daniel adored Paw Patrol, playing with his brother and sister, and especially loved animals – particularly his beloved pony, Splash.
“He was brave, intelligent and full of many wonderful traits. Daniel loved being with his whole family and will be missed by all,” the family said.
“On behalf of our family, we ask people to respect our privacy.”
Investigation ongoing, suspect in custody
Police are continuing their investigation into Daniel’s death. A 48-year-old man has been arrested under the Dangerous Act 1991 and remains in custody for questioning.
