Woman Hospitalised After Shocking East London Crash

Pedestrian Hit on Busy Silvertown Way

A woman was rushed to hospital today after being hit by a car in East London. The accident happened at 1:38pm on Saturday, December 10, on Silvertown Way in Canning Town.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Police and the London Ambulance Service were quickly called to the scene following reports of the collision. Paramedics treated the woman at the site before taking her to hospital.

Injuries Not Life-Threatening, Police Confirm

A spokesperson from the London Ambulance Service said: “We treated a woman on the spot before transporting her to the hospital.” The Metropolitan Police confirmed officers were present at around 1.40pm and that the woman’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The incident caused disruption on one of the area’s main roads, but no further details about the woman or driver have been released.
