Man Held After Two Brutal Stabbings Rock Central London
Police have arrested a man in connection with two linked stabbings that left victims fighting for their lives on Sunday, 3 March.
First Attack in W1: Man Stabbed in Romilly Street
Just after 6am, officers and paramedics rushed to Romilly Street, W1, where they found a 37-year-old man seriously injured from stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A woman in her 40s was arrested nearby and is currently in custody at a central London police station. Forensic teams sealed off the scene to gather evidence, and detectives are scouring CCTV and hunting witnesses.
Second Stabbing in Camden: Teenager Hospitalised
Later that morning at 11:36am, police received another stabbing report in University Street, WC1. A 16-year-old boy was rushed to hospital, also with life-threatening wounds.
A man in his 30s was arrested close to the Camden scene. Police later arrested the same man on suspicion of attempted murder relating to the Romilly Street stabbing.
Suspect’s Condition Uncertain After Drug Ingestion
The arrested man was taken to hospital after telling officers he swallowed a quantity of drugs. Authorities are still assessing his medical condition.
