Teen Girl Sexually Assaulted at Thatcham Skatepark
Police launch urgent appeal for witnesses after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted at Thatcham’s Chapel Street skatepark on Sunday afternoon.
Disturbing Attack in Broad Daylight
The shocking incident happened around 3.55pm on 20 September when two teenage boys approached the girl. They pulled her hair, made lewd comments, and touched her inappropriately. One of the boys brandished a knife to intimidate the victim.
Thankfully, the girl escaped without physical injuries and did not need hospital treatment.
Police Seek Public Help as Investigation Continues
“Thames Valley Police is conducting a thorough investigation into this serious incident and have already made two arrests,” said PC Jessica Lister of Newbury police station.
“We need the public’s help to support our inquiry. This happened in broad daylight where others may have seen something. If you witnessed anything, please come forward.”

Two Teens Arrested and Released on Bail
Two boys aged 14 and 15, both with no fixed address, were arrested on suspicion of sexual assault. They have been released on bail pending further investigation until 18 October.
