Two Men Arrested Over Alleged Rape in Crawley
Two men have been arrested following a reported rape in Crawley. The shocking incident happened near Broadfield Barton in the early hours of Saturday, September 21.
Victim Found Safe and Supported
Sussex Police responded quickly after receiving a report shortly after 4am. A force spokesman said: “Police responded to a report of a rape of a woman in the vicinity of Broadfield Barton, Crawley. The victim was safely located and is being supported by specialist officers at this time.”
Suspects in Custody as Investigation Continues
The arrested men, aged 30 and 31, remain in police custody. The investigation is ongoing as officers work to gather evidence and build their case.
Police Urge Public for Help
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage to come forward. The spokesman added: “Anyone with any information about the incident, including CCTV, mobile or dash cam footage, is urged to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 215 of 21/09.”
