Unprovoked Hammer Assault Shocks Commuters

Just after 8pm on Thursday 29 October, two victims were hammered on the head in a terrifying, unprovoked assault. Both needed medical treatment but, thankfully, escaped serious or life-threatening injuries.

Police Urge Public to Help Nab Suspect

BTP Inspector Gary Pinner said: “This is a concerning, unprovoked attack in a busy Underground station. We’re keen to trace and speak to the man in these images.”

“Thankfully, incidents like this are rare on the rail network. We’ve increased patrols to reassure the public.”
