Woman Arrested After Toddler Ingests Mystery Substance at Liverpool Hotel

Police swooped on a woman following an alarming incident at Liverpool’s Adelphi hotel on Saturday morning. A four-year-old boy reportedly swallowed an unknown substance, sparking a full-scale emergency response.

Boy Taken to Alder Hey Hospital for Checks

North West Ambulance Service rushed to the scene at around 9:55am after receiving the distress call. Although the child showed no immediate signs of illness, he was quickly taken to Alder Hey Hospital for observation. The strange substance was recovered and is now undergoing tests.

Widnes Woman Arrested in Drug and Child Neglect Probe

A 39-year-old woman from Widnes was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled drug and child neglect. She has since been released under investigation as police continue their enquiries.
