Manhunt Underway After Shocking Sexual Assault on Cross Street
Police have launched a manhunt after a woman in her 20s was grabbed and sexually assaulted on Cross Street around 11pm last Sunday, 3 March.
Suspect Grabs Woman from Behind in Broad Daylight
The victim was walking along Cross Street when a man suddenly grabbed her from behind, groping her breasts and buttocks before walking off towards Queen Street.
Police Release CCTV Image, Seek Public Help
The suspect is described as:
- White male
- About 5’10” tall
- Medium build
Authorities have released a CCTV image and urged anyone who recognises the man or witnessed the incident to come forward.
“If you recognise the man or witnessed the incident, we’d like to hear from you,” police said.
