Search On for Missing Woman Laurel Aldridge in West Sussex
Sussex Police are urgently searching for 62-year-old Laurel Aldridge, who vanished on Valentine’s Day.
Last Seen in Walberton, Near Arundel
Laurel was spotted leaving her Walberton home in the early hours of Tuesday, 14 February. She wore a grey puffer jacket, turquoise fleece, maroon tartan scarf, and a brown hat. Officers believe she had on dark green tracksuit trousers with a white emblem.
Standing around 5’4”, Laurel has grey-blonde highlighted hair and sometimes wears glasses.
Massive Search Effort Underway
Sussex Police are combing rural West Sussex with search teams, sniffer dogs, drones, and the NPAS helicopter. They’ve also carried out door-to-door enquiries and enlisted the help of volunteer specialist search groups.
Chief Superintendent Howard Hodges said: “We are continuing to work around the clock and carrying out an extensive investigation to find Laurel. This includes significant search work bolstered by the volunteer specialist search teams who I would like to thank for their assistance along with the public for the information they have provided to us.”
“We are working closely with Laurel’s family, offering them support and providing them with regular updates on the investigation.”
