£15K Haul and Navy Medals Stolen in Portsmouth House Break-In
A Portsmouth home was targeted in a brazen daytime raid, with thieves smashing a window to get inside. The robbery happened between 8am and 4.50pm on Wednesday 4th January at a property on Firgrove Crescent, Hilsea.
£15,000 Worth of Goods Nabbed
Burglars made off with around £15,000 in valuables. Stolen items include high-end electronics like an Apple Mac and an iPad, a Nikon D3300 camera with a Nikkor DX5 lens, and priceless jewellery. Most shockingly, a set of naval service medals bearing the service number D147171N were also taken.
CCTV Snaps Three Suspects
Police have released CCTV images of three men they want to track down. Descriptions are as follows:
- Man 1: White, 5ft 7ins to 5ft 10ins tall, wearing a green and black anorak, blue denim jeans, and a light green Oakley beanie.
- Man 2: White, early 20s, 5ft 6ins to 5ft 8ins tall, black hooded top, blue Adidas tracksuit trousers, and brown shoes.
- Man 3: White, 30s, 5ft 11ins to 6ft 3ins tall, black beanie, black hooded duffel coat with fur trim, black jeans, white trainers.
Police Issue Urgent Appeal
PC Chris Akass said: “I want to speak to these men as they may hold valuable information for our investigation. If you recognise them, or if you are one of them, contact police straight away.”
“Also, if anyone has been offered or bought these stolen items recently, please get in touch.”
