Coronavirus Shuts Down Year 10 at Edgebarrow School

Whole Year Group Sent Home

A positive Covid case in Year 10 at Edgebarrow School in Bracknell has forced the entire year group to close. The school couldn’t quickly trace close contacts, so as a precaution, all Year 10 students have been sent home.

Remote Learning in Action

Students will switch to online lessons while the school tracks and contacts those who need to self-isolate. The rest of the school will reopen on Monday as normal.

What Parents Need to Know

  • If you haven’t been contacted, your child should return to school Monday.
  • Other year groups remain unaffected.

“We made this decision with the Local Authority to keep everyone safe. Sorry for any disruption,” said Headteacher Mr Matthews.
