Multi-Vehicle Crash Blocks Eastbound Near Junctions 6 and 7
West Midlands Ambulance Service raced to a multi-car pile-up on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 6 and 7 near Wellington at 12.26pm.
Critical Condition Woman Gets Emergency Care
Two ambulances and a paramedic officer arrived to find four cars wrecked in the collision. A spokeswoman confirmed one woman was in critical condition when crews reached the scene.
“Ambulance crews provided advanced trauma care before rushing her to Princess Royal Hospital in Shrewsbury for further treatment,” said West Midlands Ambulance Service.
No Other Injuries Reported
Thankfully, no other casualties were reported from the crash.
