Firefighters and rescue crews have arrived at the scene of the crash near Irkutsk. The An-12 cargo plane is engulfed in flames, with nearby grass also ablaze. Emergency services warn the fire is still out of control.

The plane, carrying nine people, crashed near the settlement of Pivovarikha, just 7km from Irkutsk airport. Sadly, all aboard have died.
Plane Vanishes from Radar Before Crash
Russia’s Emergencies Ministry revealed the An-12 disappeared from radar at 2.45pm Moscow time while attempting to land. The wreckage was found shortly after near the Pivovarikha area.
