Serious Crash on M25 Leaves Lorry Driver Fighting for Life
A lorry driver is in a critical condition after a nasty smash on the M25 between junctions 9 and 10. The collision involved an articulated lorry, a London Taxi, and a red Citroen on the clockwise carriageway.
Lorry Driver Airlifted to Hospital
Emergency crews rushed the lorry driver to hospital by air ambulance with life-threatening injuries. Thankfully, the occupants of the taxi and Citroen escaped unharmed.
M25 Shut Amid Diesel Spill and Clean-Up
The motorway remains closed between junction 9 (Leatherhead) and junction 10 (Wisley) as emergency teams deal with a large diesel spill and clear the wreckage. Drivers are warned to avoid the area and seek alternate routes. The closure is expected to last until mid-afternoon.
