Body Found in Berkshire Missing Man Hunt
Police have discovered the body of a man linked to a missing person case in Wargrave, Berkshire. Andrew Southworth, 25, was reported missing on Tuesday, June 18.
Tragic Find in Wooded Area
After an extensive search, officers found a man’s body just before 5pm on Tuesday, June 20. The body was located in woodland near Highfield Lane. Although formal ID is pending, the man is believed to be Andrew Southworth.
Police Confirm No Suspicion
Detective Constable Maggie Bruce of Reading’s Force CID stated: “Sadly, following searches carried out by officers, a man’s body has been found. His next of kin have been informed.”
“I would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal and assisted us in our investigation. The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
