Body Found in Woodland Near Smarden
Kent Police have confirmed they discovered a man’s body in woodland near Smarden Road, Smarden.
Tragic Discovery in Kent Woods
Officers were called at 2:35pm on Friday, 17 August 2018, following reports of a body. Emergency crews, including the South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the scene but the man was pronounced dead.
Non-Suspicious Death Under Investigation
The death is being treated as non-suspicious. A formal report will be sent to the coroner for further investigation.
Family Notified, Identification Pending
Formal identification has yet to take place. However, the family of missing man Christopher Fisher, reported missing on 9 August 2018, have been informed.
