Warning for Towing Drivers: Double-Check Your Gear

Cambridgeshire Police used the incident as a reminder for drivers towing caravans or trailers to thoroughly check their equipment. Properly secured caravans are crucial for road safety.

“Before embarking on any journey, especially long-distance trips involving caravans or trailers, it’s vital to double-check all coupling mechanisms, lights, and tyres,” the force warned.
